Wolfsburg hosts Stuttgart in the 24th round of the Bundesliga on March 3 at 1:30 p.m. BST.

Stuttgart started the game with a great performance on the field, they gradually dominated the field through ball control and cooperation. Mittelstaedt's cross from the left was headed in by Girassi to give Stuttgart the lead in the 19th minute of the game, making the score 1-0.

However, Wolfsburg didn't give up and they kept trying to catch up the score in the game. In the second half, Mellor pushed a shot to the far corner of the net and Wolfsburg equalized the score at 1-1 in the 53rd minute of the match, but just three minutes later, Mellor gave away a penalty for a foul and Girassi scored from the spot to put Stuttgart back in the lead, making the score 2-1.

Stuttgart then continued their excellent attacking play as Wagnermann fired a low shot from inside the box into the far corner to extend the lead to 3-1, and although Wolfsburg had a free-kick opportunity late in the game and scored on a breakaway by Nmega, they ultimately lost by a score of 2-3.

After this game, Stuttgart settled into third place in the table, widening the points gap with fourth place.
