Recently, the Premier League officially announced that the best manager of the month for October is Wolves manager Nuno Santo, which also triggered a lot of debate. In fact, Wolves' performance in October has been extremely on point, with Wolves unbeaten in October with 3 wins and 1 draw, including 3 shutouts and only 1 goal conceded.
It's worth noting that this is the third time Nuno Santo has been honored as manager of the month, with the previous two coming in September 2018 and June 2020, and Wolves have been quite the bloodthirsty team in recent seasons, as well as always capable of blowing away the giants.
It was an honor for the coaching staff as Nuno Santo was at the training base to receive this award along with the first team analyst and the head of team performance analysis. Nuno Santo was also the first to say, "Thanks for giving me this award, it's also a recognition of all the people involved, the people behind the scenes are just as important and are very much appreciated!"
He also mentioned that the October fixtures were all difficult, with the team coming out of the September slump. This included a last minute equalizer against Newcastle, so it wasn't perfect in the October campaign, while looking forward to what Wolves will do after that. Nuno Santo beat Jose Mourinho (Tottenham Hotspur), David Moyes (West Ham United), and Hasenhuttl (Southampton) to be the best in this best of the best voting.
