In the U23 Asian Cup, Indonesia U23 team and Uzbekistan U23 team had a fierce battle. Although the Indonesia U23 team ended up losing 0-2 to Uzbekistan, their performance is still commendable and they can be considered as honorable despite the loss.

Both teams showed a strong desire to attack at the start of the match. Indonesia U23 team adopted a 343 formation, with Ferdinand, Salata and Suleiman forming the frontline trident, and strong players in the midfield and inside. Uzbekistan U23s, on the other hand, adopted a 451 formation, with solid defense and efficient counterattacks as their main tactics.

Uzbekistan U23s broke the deadlock in the 69th minute of the match. They took a 1-0 lead through a cross from the right side of the field, where Norchayev scored in the air in front of the goal. The goal boosted Uzbekistan U23's morale and they continued to keep the pressure on Indonesia U23.

However, in the 82nd minute of the match, Indonesia U23 suffered a major blow. Their defender Ramadani kicked Uzbekistan U23's Jasbek in the crotch during the defense and was sent off by the referee with a red card. This left the Indonesia U23s one man short on the field, making the situation even more unfavorable.

Despite the predicament, Indonesia U23s did not give up. They continued to actively look for opportunities to counterattack. However, in the 86th minute, Uzbekistan U23 once again made use of a free kick in front of the goal, Abdulkodir headed in a supplementary shot, although it was parried by the Indonesia U23 goalkeeper, Rifaiu misplayed the ball under the protection of his own keeper and scored into his own goal, adding another goal for Uzbekistan U23 to make the score 2-0.

In the end, Indonesia U23s were defeated by Uzbekistan U23s 0-2.
