Recently, the famous coach Jose Mourinho disclosed his personal prediction for the winner of this summer's Euro Cup. Interestingly, although Mourinho still sees England as one of the favorites to win the tournament, he still points out an Achilles' heel of the Three Lions, and it is for this reason that Mourinho believes that the biggest favorite is another team.

As the former Chelsea and Manchester United manager who is closely associated with English soccer, Mourinho believes that England will once again be one of the strong title contenders, but he doesn't think the Three Lions are the biggest favorites, according to The Mirror. Mourinho said, "I think the three strongest teams are Portugal, England and France. I'm not saying there won't be other challengers, but looking at the quality and quantity of good players, I think Portugal will win in the end."

This is not the first time Mourinho has commented on England, with the Portuguese previously suggesting that Bellingham's form will be key in determining how far England can go at the Euros. Mourinho said: "England have a very good generation, they reached the final of the last Euro, so of course they can do it (win Euro 2024). The mentality of England players who play abroad, like Jude Bellingham, I believe he can bring everything different from his teammates who play in the Premier League. He is a world-class player with a very strong personality."

However, Mourinho's other statement may coincide with many England fans who believe that the Three Lions' destiny lies in the level of coaching. Mourinho said: "Southgate is partnered by (assistant coach) Steve Holland, who used to be my assistant coach at Chelsea, and they are doing a good job, but it's always so close. I can't wish them success because I think my country, Portugal, can do it and I wish Portugal the title."

England have been drawn in a group with Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia in the Europa League group stage, while Portugal face the Czech Republic, Turkey and Georgia, and as for the other favorites in Mourinho's eyes, France have group stage opponents in Austria, the Netherlands and Poland.
