BEIJING, May 3, the English Football Reporters' Association officially announced that Manchester City's Foden was elected as the Association's Player of the Year with 42% of the vote.
Nearly 900 members of the association took part in the selection this year, with Foden coming out on top with 42% of the vote, with Arsenal midfielder Rice and Manchester City back-rower Rodney in second and third place.
Foden, 23, has made 48 appearances in all competitions for the Blue Moons this season, scoring 24 goals and dishing out 10 assists, which places him second on the team's scoring list behind Harland, who has scored 32 goals, and fourth on the team's assists list.
