Azhar is already enjoying his retirement and in a recent interview with the London Evening Standard he said that he has earned 100 million euros enough to spend for the rest of his life, so he doesn't care about the money anymore and that soccer is a game for him.
Azhar admitted that his decision to end his career was due to too many injuries that his body could no longer cope with, and after retiring from the game, he enjoys barbecue bureaus, rosé, going home with friends, playing cards, drinking beer, and playing in the garden with his son for two hours.
When asked by a reporter if he would approach his job like Crowe, he said, "No, I'm not like that. Going to a cold shower for an hour after a match, no no no. I also had an offer from a Saudi team before I retired, should I go? Go for a £1 million (about R9 million) a week? But I think I've earned enough, €100 million or €200 million. I don't have money anxieties anymore."
