Arsenal decided to observe a moment of silence at Saturday's game against Bournemouth after a 14-year-old Arsenal fan was stabbed to death in the street earlier in the day, according to prominent Daily Mail journalist Issan Khan.

The fan, known as Daniel Anjorin, was killed and four others were injured in a street in the east London suburb of Hainault on Tuesday, and Marcus Arduini Monzo, 36, has been charged with the child's murder, as well as two counts of attempted murder, two counts of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and possession of an object with a knife.

The story has sparked a lot of attention, with nearly 5,000 people donating money to the families of the murdered children.

Fans will applaud the teenager for a minute as Arsenal's game against Bournemouth reaches the 14th minute.
