The UEFA Executive Committee decided today to increase the maximum number of players in the squad for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2024 from 23 to 26 players.
This increase does not represent an obligation on the part of participating national associations.
Under the rules of the competition, teams must provide UEFA with a roster containing a minimum of 23 players and a maximum of 26 players by the June 7 deadline.
The playing rules for the 2022-24 European Football Championships have been revised.
