In the 32nd round of the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund thrashed Augsburg 5-1.
Soon after the game started, Dortmund showed a strong offense. Dortmund took a 1-0 lead in the 4th minute when Udokay's oval assist gave Mukoko the first goal. In the 20th minute, Binoy Gittens assisted Malen's forward header to further extend Dortmund's lead to 2-0. Mukoko struck again in the 29th minute with a half-time double to help Dortmund make it 3-0.
Although Augsburg did try to organize an effective attack during the game, Dortmund's defense was very solid and did not give the opponent too many chances. It wasn't until the 32nd minute that Augsburg's Ruben Vargas lifted a shot from the penalty area to equalize the game for his team, making the score 1-3.
However, Dortmund did not let their guard down. In the 34th minute, Weit extended the pass assist, Royce broke through and picked the goal, Dortmund again extended the score, 4-1 lead.
