Jeddah National hosted Damak in the 30th round of the Saudi Arabian League on May 3, 2024 and won 4-1 against ten-man Damak. The match was won by Firmino's cross and Mahrez contributed a penalty shot.
Jeddah Nationals were the first to score in the first half thanks to their excellent coordination and attacking ability. Yohani gave Jeddah Nationals the lead in the 7th minute through a calm low shot after a steal in front of the goal. Firmino then assisted Brekan to score in the 10th minute to give Jeddah Nationals a 2-0 lead. In the 19th minute, Jeddah Nationals were awarded a penalty kick and Mahrez hit it to extend the lead to 3-0. In the 25th minute, St. Maximan assisted Firmino in the goal and Jeddah Nationals ended the first half with a 4-0 lead.
In the second half, Team Damac tried to salvage the loss by stepping up their offense. However, in the 61st minute, Antolic was unable to change the game despite pulling one back for Damac. To make matters worse, in the 73rd minute, Shafai was shown a yellow card for a vicious shoveling of Buraikan from behind and was sent off for turning two yellows into one red as he had already received a yellow card earlier. After a VAR cue, Shafai's foul was upgraded to a straight red card and the Damacs were left to play with ten men for the remainder of the game.
Despite the fact that Damak played one man less, they still tried to find chances. However, Jeddah Nationals did not leave too many chances for their opponents with their solid defense and excellent counterattacking ability. In the end, the match ended with Jeddah Nationals defeating the ten-man Damac team with a score of 4-1.
