Tickets for Scotland's opening Euro 2024 match against Germany in June are being offered for more than £12,000 by an online ticket resale company.

UEFA warned fans buying from unofficial sources that they could be denied entry.

A total of 2.7 million tickets were sold for the June 14-July 14 game.

The final public sale began on Thursday, with some fans complaining of technical errors due to high demand.

The team will then play Switzerland on June 19 in Cologne and then on June 23 in Stuttgart

Final group game against Hungary.

The cheapest tickets for the opening match cost £43, but some online resale companies advertise the same tickets for £600.

The official price of a Category 1 ticket for the game against Germany is £513, but one company is offering fans the chance to buy up to four tickets for £12,800 each.

Other online sites claim to have more than 1,000 tickets for the match, but UEFA is urging fans to resist the temptation when they could be denied entry.

UEFA warns fans not to buy tickets through unofficial resale

A spokesman said, "UEFA strongly urges fans not to buy tickets on the secondary market.

"The only way to ensure its effectiveness and avoid disappointment at the stadium is to purchase tickets through the official Euro 2024 ticketing portal.

"UEFA and Euro 2024 actively enforce the terms and conditions of ticketing, including by monitoring the internet, and will take action - including cancelling tickets - if unauthorized advertising is detected."

Fans who have purchased tickets but are unable to attend will be able to transfer them to a friend or family member via a dedicated mobile app.

Scotland fans have been allocated 10,000 tickets for each of the three group games, but thousands more are expected to travel.

Entry to all stadiums will be via QR codes on cell phones.
