Saint-Germain, managed to reach the final with a total score of 2-0. Borussia Dortmund club star and advisor Sammer spoke highly of his team's performance, emphasizing the luck factor in the match.
Paris Saint-Germain had four shots on goal that hit the post in the match but could not change the game as Dortmund ended up shutting out their opponents. Sammer said: "Luck always plays a key role in a semi-final or a final. Dortmund played passionate and sincere soccer and deserved to advance."
Sammer was full of praise for Dortmund's performance: "They played very well and managed to weaken the Parisian offense. I could sense that the opponents could no longer run the ball. They were outstanding in every aspect of the game."
However, Sammer also warned his team not to get too carried away, "Dortmund should celebrate now, but not excessively, because if they win the final, I don't even know what else they can do to celebrate." Dortmund will face another team from Europe's top league in the final for the European trophy.
