Premier League giants Chelsea have been quiet in the winter transfer window, and on Sunday (21) finally made a move to bring back on-loan midfielder Kassidy from Championship side Leicester City, with the Italian starlet reportedly competing for a place in the starting line-up, but the move has led to speculation that Connor Gallicher may be sold this month.

Kasady, 21, joined Chelsea from Inter Milan in the summer of 2022 for a transfer fee of £16 million (HK$160 million), and was loaned out to Leicester City for a season beforehand, making 25 appearances in all competitions and helping the team to top the Championship table. Transfer authority Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Chelsea decided to recover Kasady early and instantly, and will be with the first team drills to compete for the first team, the leader of the team Pjetjenu that he can inject immediate combat power.
