Ghana will be looking to follow reigning Afcon champions Senegal into the Round of 16, and the two teams will meet in their final group game. a draw would be enough for Ghana to join Senegal in the Round of 16, and a win for Ghana would put them at the top of the group, and would be a big surprise in the Afcon.
Senegal may rest some of their starters for the matches leading up to the end of the group stage? players, but they want to make sure they qualify at the top of the group in order to meet easier opponents in the round of 16.
Gulas, the Ghanaian striker, has yet to play in the Afcon due to an injury, and as he is arguably Ghana's most senior player in the squad, it's curious to see if he'll be able to make it back in time for this match. If he is fit, will Ghana use him to try and secure a place in the group, or will they choose to give him a rest and leave him for the Round of 16.
