The stadium's skywalk project is about to become a reality, according to WSJ
Barcelona
Permission has been received from the Fire Department to move forward with this project.
Back on April 11, Barcelona executive Elena Forte said that they were in the final stages of negotiations to ensure safety. Now, after many meetings and exchanges of documents, Barcelona has finally received permission to proceed with the construction of the sky corridor. This corridor will allow people to have a view of Barcelona's cityscape from the top of the Camp Nou stadium.
However, fans will have to be patient as the skywalk cannot be realized until the roof of the stadium is fully installed. It is expected that fans will not be able to board the skywalk and enjoy the magnificent view until the summer of 2026 at the earliest. The most likely location for the skywalk is said to be above the boxes and benches.
Tottenham Hotspur's home stadium is the only one of several major stadiums that have been built with a skywalk on the roof. From there, visitors can look down on London, and the project has become a major tourist attraction for the city.
