Ewarton and Nottingham Forest, who have been charged with financial irregularities by the Premier League, both progressed to the EFL Cup replay in the early hours of Thursday morning (18th), with Ewarton beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at home and Forest knocking out Blackpool 3-2 in extra time.
Ewarton came out strong and managed to take control of the game, with Antoine Gomes scoring a penalty in the 42nd minute to break the deadlock.
