The Premier League has announced its major awards for December 2023, with Ponemouth striker Solanki being voted Player of the Month, becoming the first player in the team's history to win the award, and Ashton Villa skipper Emery being voted December's Team Leader of the Month.
Solanki scored six goals in six Premier League starts last month, including three against Nottingham Forest, helping the team to a 3-2 win. The 26-year-old England international has scored 12 goals in the Premier League this season, second only to Aynin Sharamat and Mohammed Sana, who have scored 14 goals.
As for Amery, he led Aston Villa in 7 EPL matches last month, with 4 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss, including defeating Man City and Arsenal, and won the best team leader in December, which is absolutely deserved.
