The legendary Brazilian coach Saganu passed away at his home on Saturday (6) at the age of 92. He was a close friend of Billy the King and the only player and coach in history to win the World Cup four times.

Saganu has attended the World Cup six times, winning the 1958 and 1962 Cups as a player, and attending the 1970, 1974, 1994 and 1998 Cups as a team leader or assistant coach, winning the 1970 Cup as a team leader and the 1994 Cup as an assistant coach.

In the history of the World Cup, there are three people who have won the title as a player and a coach, and Saganu is the first one, followed by Brigitte Bauer and Dee Gans who accomplished the feat. After Brazil won the title in 1994, Saganu was awarded the title of "Professor" after he won the Rémy Cup and the Hercules Cup of the two different generations of the World Cup.
