Manchester City striker Einin Chalant, after winning the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Player of the Year 2023, has won the Norwegian Ballon d'Or for the best Norwegian player of the year, which is the fourth consecutive time for the 23-year old shot-stopper.

Aynin Chalant posted a photo of herself with the trophy on social media saying, "It's such an honor to win this award again." Netizens have praised his performance and believe that the 2024 Ballon d'Or will be in his pocket. However, Ayn Rand has been out of action since his injury against Aston Villa in the Premier League early last month, and missed the World Championships, so it will be interesting to see when he can make his comeback.

According to the latest injury news from Manchester City, Ayn Rand is expected to be back to play in the Premier League against Newcastle in the early hours of January 14th, but he is still not expected to play in the EFL Cup at home against Huddersfield on Sunday night (7th).
