Manchester United have been on a good run of good things recently, with British tycoon Ratcliffe officially taking a stake in the club and a dramatic 3-2 win over Aston Villa in the last league match, which has boosted the morale of the team. The midfielder Mason Mount, who has been injured for one and a half months, resumed drills at the Cannington training base on Wednesday (27), and will be practicing with the team for a short period of time, and is expected to make a strong comeback in 2024.

Mason Mount suffered a calf injury against Luton in early November and practiced for the first time at Carrington on Wednesday. As most of the players were rested after the game against Villa, Mason Mount only practiced lightly in the rain and is expected to be back in full action soon, aiming to make his return to action in the first match of 2024, against Weegean in the EFL Cup.
