Barcelona's veteran Saji Roberto, one of the team's lowest-paid players, wants to stay in the team and has expressed his willingness to take another pay cut to extend his contract, as long as it's as small as possible.

Sardar Roberto started his career with Barcelona as a youth trainee and has been with the club for his entire career. He was promoted to the first team in 2010 and has been with the club for 13 years now, scoring 19 goals in 357 matches for Barcelona, and has been a teammate of current manager Xavi, playing a very important role in the locker room.
