FIFA officially confirms that the 2027
Women's World Cup
The hosting rights will be contested by a joint bid by Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands and a separate bid by Brazil.
FIFA recently released its assessment report for the 2027 Women's World Cup, which states that both bids meet the minimum requirements and therefore they will compete for the right to host.
According to FIFA's voting procedures, the two bids will be submitted to the 74th FIFA Congress in Bangkok on May 17 for a public vote by FIFA's 211 member associations. This will also be the first time that FIFA will decide the host of the Women's World Cup through a public vote.
