Newcastle's injury-riddled squad has kept up its record, and wing Anthony Gordon has been a big part of that. The 22-year-old starlet was voted Newcastle's Player of the Month for November after scoring two goals and one assist in six games for the Magpies last month, plus scoring the only goal of the match in the Premier League match to beat Manchester United, which was a brilliant performance, and England's national team boss Thuy Haufki is likely to pick Gordon to play in the final of the UEFA Europa League next summer.

Anthony Gordon was transferred to Newcastle from Ewarton in January this year for a transfer fee of £45 million (about HK$440 million), and was once questioned as a bargain after his poor performance last season. However, Gordon played for England in the U21 European Cup in the summer, and successfully improved his form to meet this season's tournament, playing 13 games in the Premier League scored 6 goals.

Gordon's greatest strength is that he has scored against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the last month, helping Newcastle to beat these 3 traditional giants, and the call for Shaufki to call up Gordon is getting louder and louder.
