The draw for the 2024 UEFA Europa League group stage will be held in Hamburg, Germany in the early hours of Sunday (3), and the UEFA has announced that Italy, the defending champions, will fall into the 4th slot, while Croatia and the Netherlands will be in the 3rd slot, resulting in a group of death at any time.

With 21 of the 24 final week teams now decided and the last three to be selected through a play-off in March, the 2024 UEFA Europa League final week in Germany will be held from June 14th to July 14th next year.

The 24 teams will be divided into 6 groups of 4 teams each with the following brackets:

Tranche 1: Germany, Portugal, France, Spain, Belgium, England

Tranche 2: Hungary, Denmark, Albania, Austria, Turkey, Romania

Tranche 3: Scotland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Croatia

Tranche 4: Serbia, Italy, Switzerland, Play-off A, Play-off B, Play-off C

The UEFA Europa League classification is based on the results of the qualifying rounds, with the host country Germany plus the five best teams from the qualifying rounds in the first slot, and the remaining five first-placed teams plus one second-placed team in the second slot, so Albania, Turkey, Romania, Hungary and Denmark are all in the second slot.
