The last time these two sides faced each other, Newcastle thrashed Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 4-1 at home, but times are different now, and there's no doubt that this game will be a very different affair.

First of all, Newcastle has a number of key players out of action due to injuries and suspensions, including Sindo Donnelly, Colin Wilson, Baldwin and Dan Bone, etc. Secondly, PSG is stronger at home. Secondly, PSG are more powerful at home, winning all their two home matches without conceding a goal so far, but their performance on the road is not so good, losing their previous two matches away from home in the group stage.

What I find exciting is that PSG is no longer a team with a lot of stars, but a young team with a lot of potential. Kilian McBarbee is the centerpiece of the team, but there are also quality attacking players up front in Goloumiani, Lee Kang-in, and Giancarlo, all of which have been very successful acquisitions, proving that the club is building a team for the future.

Osvaldo Nibili has been playing well since his move from Barcelona, so they have a number of players who can do damage for Newcastle. In addition, a pair of players, Ashraf and Lucas Gonzalez, are expected to keep coming forward to assist, so I think PSG will play an attacking formation.

It's going to be a tough challenge for Newcastle, but they know they have the ability to do it. Their leader Eddie Hervey will ask his team to keep moving and follow the pre-match instructions, as well as to keep a close eye on their opponents and make hard tackles.

I expect Newcastle, nicknamed "The Magpies", to be dangerous on free kicks, especially because of Jephia's accurate deliveries, while the speed of Anthony Gordon and Micky Amiran will come in handy on counter-attacks. Up front, Aleksandar Ishak will have to capitalize on his only chance to score.
