Eindhoven (city in the Netherlands)

PSV Eindhoven was founded on August 31, 1913, and is one of the most successful soccer clubs in the Netherlands, along with Feyenoord and Ajax. In the beginning, "PSV" was just an abbreviation of "Philips Sports Union", when Philips set up a sports club to celebrate the centenary of Dutch independence, and with the evolution of time this club became a professional soccer club, that is, the Eindhoven Eindhoven Football Club.

Many young, strong and promising players have excelled during their time at Eindhoven, which in turn has attracted other powerful teams, and many successful players have come from the club, such as Luther Gullit, Ronald Koeman, Romario, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Phillip Cocu, to name a few. As one of the three giants of the Dutch Eredivisie, Eindhoven's crowning achievement was winning one Champions League title and the UEFA Champions League, as well as a total of 24 Dutch Eredivisie titles, second only to Ajax.

In 1929, PSV Eindhoven won the first title in the club's history: the Dutch League Championship, and the first Dutch FA Cup in 1950. 1970s was the golden period of PSV Eindhoven, the club won the Dutch League Championship three times, the Dutch Cup twice, and the UEFA Cup, and from then on, PSV Eindhoven's name became the glory of Holland. In 1988, after years of reorganization and training, PSV Eindhoven once again ushered in a glorious moment, with the meritorious coach Hiddink leading the club to achieve three consecutive titles in the Dutch League, the Dutch Cup and the European Champions Cup, the "Triple Crown".

Many stars have played for Eindhoven in the club's history, and Eindhoven has created countless honors during the century. After the German star Götze joined Eindhoven, I believe Eindhoven will create another glorious epic.
