In a recent interview, Liverpool's legendary Jamie Carragher spoke highly of Portuguese winger Pedro Neto, who joined Chelsea this summer, and expressed his deep regret that Liverpool failed to sign the young talent.

Carragher said he has been following Neto's performances for Wolves for a long time and is convinced that the 24-year-old is fully capable of playing for one of the world's top teams, apart from his injury problems. "I really believe that, apart from injuries, he has the ability to play for the best teams in the world." Carragher said.

He singled out Neto's pace, technical level, ball control and goal-scoring ability as key factors that have made Neto stand out in the Premier League. "I saw his pace, technical level, ball control and ability to score goals and all these qualities make him a very good player." Carragher added.

However, Carragher also expressed his concerns about Neto's future at Chelsea, particularly his potential clash with Chelsea youngster Palmer in terms of field position and style. "My only concern is that Neto is best on the right and then finishes inside on his left foot, and Palmer might like to play in that way as well." He said.

Nonetheless, Carragher remains confident in Neto's future and believes that Neto can definitely cash in on his talent as long as Chelsea are able to ensure his fitness. "I think if Chelsea can keep him fit for a long time, he can definitely cash in on his talent." Carragher emphasized.

In addition, Carragher revealed his concern over Neto's injury. "I was a little bit frustrated before when I heard about Neto's injury and even though Wolves are not a team I support, I still hope he can stay fit." He said, "Because I think healthy he is one of the best players among the Premier League."

This summer, Chelsea signed Pedro Neto from Wolves for a transfer fee of 60 million euros, which is undoubtedly a great recognition of his strength and potential. And Carragher's words have undoubtedly added more expectation and attention to Neto's future at Chelsea.
