Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Championship side Leeds United midfielder Ajay Gray, and will not rule out making a move for the 17-year-old England international for 40 million pounds (about HK$390 million) next summer, the Daily Mail has revealed.
Ajay Gray is the son of a famous player, his grandfather Faji Gray and his father Andy Gray both played for Leeds United during their playing days. He joined Leeds United's youth team at the age of eight and was selected for the December 2021 Premier League match against Arsenal at the age of 16, but did not play.
Leeds United has landed in the Championship this season, and leader Daniel Falkie is determined to cultivate Ajay Gray, who has already secured a place in the starting lineup. Aji Gray technology is comprehensive, can play in the midfield and right back, and has a long-distance shooting head, in the last year, a U23 game, 35 yards away from the goal of the long-distance shot into the net, playing with Liverpool's former "magical captain" Sherratt similar to the Reds, no wonder the Reds are eyeing him.
