Chelsea's £45 million (about HK$430 million) summer signing of Manchester City's new star Galpenma has been hailed as one of the best acquisitions of the season in less than three months, and the 21-year-old Galpenma showed his worth by dominating Chelsea's attack and scoring a crucial 12-yard goal, and was even "shocked" during the game when he received a yellow card for stepping on 12 yards of turf, and was pushed away by a City player who was listening to his players discussing tactics. He was pushed away when he "overheard" City players discussing tactics, so he stole the show!

Before the match, Gordiona revealed that Galpenma insisted on a move because he "didn't want to wait any longer" and wanted to be an instant starter, and the manager even boasted that "only the smallest clubs worry about selling good players to their opponents". Golpenma had a great game this year, with 7 successful crosses (the highest in the match) and his 4th 12-yarder of the season (100%) in the last minute of extra time. After the game, Golpenma said that he didn't practise 12-yarders: "I'm just confident in my own ability".
