Chelsea just recovered from an epic battle against Tottenham Hotspur, and they finally managed to beat their arch rivals. It was a strange game, but in the end Chelsea picked up the 3 points they desperately needed after losing to Binford.
My old hosts have shown their potential over the last few weeks, not knocking their opponents off their feet but dominating some games, just couldn't get the goals but I'm sure a hat-trick for Nicolas Jaeschen will give him confidence.
I think a lot of Chelsea's recent progress can be attributed to the fact that leader Poutchiettinou has finally found some stability in his regular lineup. While I think there's still some way to go before he finally gets to his ideal eleven, the fact that Thiago Schwarzenegger, Levi Govier, Ansou Fernandes, Gunnar Gallicher, Moses Scarcitto, Staanen, Golpenberg and Nicolas Jaesen have begun to settle into the starting XI means that he doesn't have to change the starting XI from game to game in the same radical way as he did in the beginning.
In particular, I would like to talk about the two new English stars, Galpenma and Gunnar Gallicher. First of all, Gunnar Gallichaig is arguably Chelsea's best player this season for the time being, injecting energy and aggression into the Blue Warriors' midfield, and at 23 years old, he's already the oldest player among Chelsea's regular midfielders (Ensor Fernandes and Moses Scarcitto), which is a crazy statistic. As a key player in Chelsea's pressing game, he's often successful in counter-possessions in front of the ball, a quality that I think could be key against a team like Manchester City.
Another player, Galpenma, has had a great run in the Chelsea side so far, and his ability and fearlessness has quickly made him a favorite of the fans, and he has rewarded them with goals, assists, and all-around performances. I'm sure he'll want to prove himself against his old club this weekend and have a big say in the game.
Last week we saw how confidently Ponemonmouth played in the opening 30 minutes of the game against Manchester City, with the score at 0:0, but just 7 minutes later the score was 3:0 and the game went into garbage time early on. Once City's championship winning side get into their stride, they have a knack of scoring at the right time and then taking the game away from you. Any of their players can score from anywhere on the pitch at any time, and that's what makes them so deadly. Chelsea will have to stay focused for 90 minutes if they want to get something out of this game.
One of the matchups I'm most looking forward to is Shelly Medjugorje (if he's on the team) versus Les Champs. After the midweek break, he will be more recognized for his 4 assists and 1 goal in the EPL last game. Shelly Medjugorje's performances since joining the club have made him look as if he has been in the EPL and Manchester City for years, and what makes him even better is that Kiarisu was arguably the catalyst for City's success in the WC last season, but Shelly Medjugorje has already kicked him out of the starting XI since joining the club, so Les Jambos will need to be at their best in defense in order to keep him quiet.
Having said that, the attacking prowess of Lesez could be Chelsea's royal weapon, we know he likes to get forward and has excellent assisting skills, in the few games I've watched Shelly Medjugorje on the field I've noticed that he does tend to neglect his back-to-back duties during games, I'm sure Putrajit Tino and Chelsea will take note of this, and I've no doubt they'll take advantage of this weakness to combat Man City.
