Copenhagen's 4-3 victory over Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League, with 17-year-old midfielder Roony Bardghji scoring the final goal, has made him famous. He may become another Roony in the future.

He was born in Kuwait, another Middle Eastern country, and immigrated to Sweden with his family. He trained with the Marmot youth team before joining the Copenhagen youth team in 2020, where he became the youngest player ever to play for the Copenhagen first team two years ago at the age of 16 years and six days.

Badji made his debut in the UEFA Europa League against Xavier in October last year, a year after he scored his first career UEFA Europa League goal, which is significant.
