With the second round of the Premier League just around the corner, Tottenham Hotspur new signing Solanke has expressed his anticipation for the upcoming home game against Everton in a pre-match interview. The new signing made it clear that he is eager to show his strengths in front of the home fans and rectify any deficiencies that may exist.
"I'm looking forward to the game," said Solanke, "For me it's a chance to put things right in front of our fans and to play in this stadium for the first time as a Tottenham player. I hope to give back to the fans with my performance."
Solanke had already made his Tottenham debut in the previous game, and alongside the memorable appearance at the King Power Stadium were the impressive performances of two 18-year-olds, Archie Gray and Lucas Berival. Solanke has high praise for these two young teammates.
"They're top players," praised Solanke, "and from what I've seen, they've had a great preseason. Obviously, I've been training with them all week and they've shown exceptional talent. The whole team is full of highly talented players, which is very exciting for me, and I look forward to playing alongside them throughout the season and working together to bring honor to the team."
