The family of legendary Manchester United leader Ferguson has released an obituary for the death of Ferguson's wife, Cathy Ferguson, at the age of 84.
The Ferguson family obituary reads, "It is with deep sadness that we confirm that Mrs. Cathy Ferguson passed away yesterday, and is survived by her husband, three sons, two daughters, 12 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, and we ask that privacy be respected at this time." Manchester United's official website also posted a message of condolence, describing Cathy as the strongest pillar of support for Ferguson's career.
British media reports, Ferguson and his wife Cathy met in 1964, married in 1966, gave birth to three sons and two daughters after marriage, Ferguson had a visit to talk about his wife's support for his career, until Cathy's sister died in 2011, the need for Ferguson to accompany him, Ferguson in 2013 to end the career of the manager of Manchester United, just 10 years ago now.
