In Group E of the AFC Champions League in the early hours of Tuesday morning (3), superstar Cron set a new milestone by scoring for the first time in the tournament, assisting Saudi Arabia's giants Ainas to a 3-1 victory at home over Istiqlal, making it two wins out of two in the group stage and giving the team an optimistic chance of qualifying for the tournament. Cron scored for the first time in the AFC Champions League, and continued to set a new record for the most number of goals scored in the tournament by a player in the history of the tournament.
Ainas had the upper hand in the match, but wasted many chances to score in the first half. Cron alone missed three chances to score, and was even beaten by Tajikistan's Istiqlo in the 44th minute.
