Liverpool ace Mohamed Sana has updated his personal IG to reveal a Harvard Business School research document containing some of the details of Sana's contract extension with Liverpool last year.
According to the documents, manager Issa called Sana, who was on vacation, to discuss a contract extension and said: "I am worried about not being able to extend the contract because the offer is much lower than what we want. Sana responded: "I want to stay at Liverpool, but the other side has to show goodwill".
As a result, Sana reached an agreement with Liverpool to extend his contract for three years, with a weekly salary of £350,000 (about HK$3.35 million), the highest ever, but his partner, Shadi Oweni, failed to extend his contract and was sold to Bayern Munich.
