The China-ASEAN International Badminton Open ended successfully at the Guangxi Sports Center Gymnasium in Nanning, Guangxi. China Pole Rabbit Li Yongbo International Badminton Club successfully won the championship by defeating Thailand FYC Badminton Club 3:1 in the team final.

The tournament was organized under the Mixed Team System, with high level badminton clubs from six countries including China, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. After two days of fierce competition, China Pole Rabbit Li Yongbo International Badminton Club won the championship, Thailand FYC Badminton Club won the second place, and Malaysia SEBC Badminton Club won the third place of the tournament.

The success of this tournament not only promoted badminton exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN countries, but also contributed to the development of badminton in the region. Li Yongbo, China's meritorious badminton coach and founder of the LYB brand, presented trophies, medals and check plates to the champion China Polar Rabbit Li Yongbo International Badminton Club team at the award ceremony. Li Yongbo said in an interview that badminton, as a sport with a wide range of audience groups, has great influence in Guangxi, and many excellent badminton players have been cultivated in the region. He hoped that through the organization of the China-ASEAN International Badminton Open, he could better promote badminton culture and make contributions to the local economic and social development of sports in Nanning.

Pan Jianhui, deputy director of the Nanning Sports Bureau, said badminton has a broad mass base in Nanning and is one of the most popular sports in the area. He expressed his hope that the China-ASEAN International Badminton Open will become a brand event in Nanning, adding more competitions and attracting more outstanding athletes to participate in it.
