The final of the winter league kicked off in Hanyu Golden Valley of Jinan Hi-Tech Zone. After a fierce competition, St. Ann's Financial Team successfully won the group championship of the tournament by virtue of its outstanding performance and teamwork, while Yuguan Xicheng and Shanquan River and Lake teams won the second and third place respectively.
The winter league attracted more than 40 teams and 200 table tennis enthusiasts from all over the province. After 5 days and 8 matches of intense competition, the final 8 champion teams advanced to the final. The scene of the finals was full of masters, the players fought hard, the score was stalemate, and the wonderful ball appeared frequently. The audience cheered and applauded for the players' exquisite skills, and the atmosphere was warm and high.
It is worth mentioning that the level of players in this winter league was high and the final match was full of experts. Former members of the provincial table tennis team, professional players of Shandong Luneng Table Tennis Club and Ke Xingyi, a foreign table tennis player who is undergoing special training at the 0539 Table Tennis Training Base in Linyi, participated in the final match. Their participation added more attractions and challenges to the game.
Jinan Gaoxin "Golden Valley Cup" Table Tennis Winter League is jointly organized by Jinan Gaoxin District Management Committee Education, Culture and Sports Department, Qilu Software Park Development Center (ICT Park), Jinan Gaoxin District New Era Civilization Practice Center, Jinan Gaoxin District Shunda Community, and Jinan Gaoxin Greentown Property Management Co. This is a successful attempt by the Education, Culture and Sports Department of Jinan Hi-Tech Zone Management Committee to explore the introduction of social forces to participate in running the competition. The tournament received strong sponsorship and support from Hanyu Golden Valley related enterprises, Jinan 123 Table Tennis Club provided the venue and professional referee support, and Bank of Beijing Hanyu Golden Valley Sub-branch and other units assisted in the organization of the guarantee, realizing the good situation of "the government sets up the stage, the enterprises sing, and the masses benefit", and driving the table tennis sport to be widely popularized and carried out on a wider scale.
