Manchester City, who won three titles last season, have already had a setback in their defense of the new season, with ace midfielder Kiyono Dibny injured in the UEFA Europa League final and reportedly in serious condition, and will miss both the Community Shield and the opening game of the Premier League.
The Daily Mirror reports that Chiyun Dibny's thigh hamstring injury suffered in the UEFA Europa League final was found to be a grade three tear. Although surgery is not required, he will have to rest for a long period of time, and will not be able to wait for the Community Shield match against Arsenal at the beginning of August, as well as his first Premier League match on August 12 against Bonny, but the doctors are hoping that Chiyun Dibny will be able to return in the UEFA Europa League match against Sivle on August 17, or at least play as a back-up first.
