The World Qualifier against Syria will kick off at 22:45 tonight. Before the match, Syria's manager Cooper attended the pre-match conference to give an outlook on the match.

Cooper said, "I understand Japan traveling a long way for the game, but again, this is not our home ground. All of our matches will be played away from home and I hope everyone understands that as well. The match against Japan will be very tough, in fact, every match is not easy, but even against a strong team like Japan, it is not impossible for us to get three points, and we have to think of the tactics next."
