The announcement noted that Dortmund raised its earnings forecast for the fiscal year following the team's success in reaching the Champions League final on Tuesday.
According to the announcement, the company has raised its consolidated net profit forecast range for FY23/24 to EUR 40-50 million. This follows the April 17, 2024 upward revision of the forecasted consolidated net profit range to EUR 33-45 million.
The announcement states that the new forecasts are based on value-added facts prior to the completion of the preparation of the financial results, as well as all information obtained after the reporting period during the audit of the consolidated financial results for FY23/24.
Borussia Dortmund will reportedly face Real Madrid in the Champions League final at Wembley Stadium on June 2 at 3 a.m. GMT.
