Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) beat Auxerre 2-1 in the early hours of Monday (22), leading second-place Lens by six points with only two rounds of the league left, and with a 16-goal advantage, it is basically 99.9% successful in defending the title, and as long as it carries more than one point, it can be digitally declared the champion.
PSG's last win over Auxerre was 15 years ago, but this game got off to a perfect start when Kylian McBarbee opened the scoring in the 6th minute, and then made it 2-0 two minutes later with an assist from Mays, Auxerre chased down a goal in the 51st minute, but PSG held on for a 2-1 victory. Lens has a slim chance of coming back.
