Liverpool only managed to hold Aston Villa to a 1-1 draw at home in the Premier League on Saturday night (20), leaving the Reds with very little chance of finishing in the top four for the next UEFA Europa League. As this is the Reds' last home game of the season, a special farewell ceremony was held for four departing players - James Mina, Roberto Falmino, Nabil Kida and Alex Chamberlain - with Roberto Falmino scoring, but unfortunately failing to win the match for his team.

Nabikida and Alex Chamberlain are out of action, while James Mina and Roberto Firmino wait until the 72nd minute to play as back-ups, with the latter scoring just before the end of the game to help Liverpool force a 1-1 draw with their rivals. As the Reds are already 3 points behind 4th place Manchester United, with only 1 league game left, and with United having 2 league matches in hand, the chances of Liverpool making it into the top 4 are almost desperate.

Liverpool's Roberto Falmino, who has played for Liverpool for eight years, shed tears after the game and appeared reluctant to part, but he quickly calmed down and signed autographs and took pictures with fans to say goodbye, and rumors are swirling that Inter Milan and Real Madrid are both interested in signing the 31-year-old Brazilian striker.

As for the 37-year-old veteran James Mina, who has also played for Liverpool for eight years, he said he would not rule out a return to the Reds in the future, and was rumored to be on the verge of a move to Brighton.
