Chelsea's move to hire a new manager has finally been finalized, with Argentinean manager Jorge Pontezetino flying into London on Friday (19) to sign the final paperwork for a three-year deal. It has been reported that Putitino will meet Chelsea's players one by one before the Premier League kicks off to decide on a plan for the summer, while seven players, including Gervasi, have been put up for sale in the hope of clearing out their stock quickly.

According to the London Evening Standard, with only a week to go before the Premier League break, Pujitino has arrived at Chelsea to prepare for the signing of the contract, and his schedule is quite tight. He will first meet with caretaker leader Lambert to learn about the team's situation, and then before the players' seasonal vacation, he will meet with each one of them to talk about the future direction, as well as with the coaching staff and senior executives to implement the summer formation of the army and the preseason preparation plan.

Chelsea's buying spree this season has resulted in an overcrowding problem, and reports suggest that Pontezetino has already given up on 7 of their stars, including Kovacs, Aubameyang, Scherzinger, Kristian Pleszcz, Herschel O'Doul, Rawdusztorzak and Edoardo Yawendi. As for Mason Monte and Nicolaj Gendy, who both have a year left on their contracts, the decision to leave them remains undecided, and Pontezetino is not resistant to cooperating with striker Lukaku, who has a loan spell with Inter Milan.

Sources say that Chelsea's purge will be carried out very quickly, especially before the end of the financial year on June 30, so that the team's accounts can comply with the financial fairness regulations. Pucitino's debut in the UK will not be in charge of Chelsea, but to lead the World All Stars in a charity match on June 11 at the Old Trafford Stadium.
