Melbourne City and FC Sydney combined for a great game in the first leg of the Top 4, with both sides having some chances to score, but overall, Melbourne City will be more satisfied with the result, and will be able to advance to the finals with a win in this home match.
However, in my experience, when you're being looked over, the pressure becomes even higher, and with Melbourne coming back from their finals defeat last year, the pressure is naturally even higher this time around. However, I think the fact that the team has won the regular season title in the last 3 seasons is proof that they are the best team in the AFL.
I think Melbourne will be able to control the game and create more chances to score, and goalkeeper Tong Ko Wah will need to play an important role. He made a few good saves in the first period, and although he may not be very busy this time around, he will need to be on his toes whenever FC Sydney are on the attack, especially with Fonzie having scored in his last 6 matches.
Last Friday, FC Sydney's English striker scored a 12-yard goal to help the team to a 1-1 draw at home against Melbourne City, and I believe another player from England, Rudy Weir, will be a key player for the team this time. Although he plays as a midfielder, he has been playing as a central midfielder lately with Alex Wigginson in the center of the pitch, and he has been doing well in this new position.
With a talented forward line of Jimmy McCarron, Felix Mafferty and Marco Del Rio, Rudyville and Alex Wickenson will have to make the defense impervious to attack and hopefully, Fonzie will be able to get a goal up front.
