Aston Villa's rising midfield star Barrenechea is close to completing his transfer process to join Valencia on loan, according to the latest reports from renowned transfer journalist Romano. The 23-year-old Argentine midfielder is expected to travel with his agent to Valencia in Spain tonight and is scheduled to undergo a full medical there on Friday morning. Once the medical is passed, the loan deal will be officially finalized.

It is worth noting that despite this being a loan deal, according to Romano, the contract does not include a buyout clause. This reflects Aston Villa's high regard for Barrenechea, as they see the young midfielder as an important part of the team's future plans and are therefore in no rush to move him permanently to another club at this stage.

Barrenechea joined Aston Villa from Juventus this summer for a transfer fee of €8 million and quickly became the center of attention for the team's midfield position. Despite being a first-timer, he has already won the recognition of Villa's management for the technical ability and potential he has shown on the field. Last season, while playing for Frosinone, Barrenechea made an impressive total of 39 appearances, including 33 starts, and contributed one goal and one assist.
