Both Brisbane Roar and FC Sydney have had a strong second half of the season and have been in good form recently, so I expect both teams to look to extend their unbeaten streaks into this match.

Brisbane Lions faced Wellington Phoenix in the last round of league matches, although they were ahead of their opponents in the early part of the match, they had turned the game into a defeat in the second half. I have seen many teams giving up at this time, especially those who are ranked lower than the top 6 playoff positions in the league. However, defenseman Steve Scagnelli came through with a goal late in the game to tie the game and help his team come back with a point, which is definitely a rare feat.

I attribute this goal to the team's confidence and the performance of James Osha, who has scored 6 goals in his last 6 league games. With him in great form, FC Sydney's defense will need to be at their best to stop him from scoring his 7th goal in 7 games.

Brisbane Roar's defenders also need to be on their toes as they will be facing Fonzie, who has been on a hot streak lately. The English striker has scored 5 goals in his last 6 matches and has once again become the center of FC Sydney's offense. Zuruli also scored against Perth Glory in the last round of the league and I think he is capable of influencing the game this time. With his outstanding individual skills and ability to play different styles of football, I'm sure he'll be a headache for the opponents.

With Fonzou and Zuruli on a roll, I expect FC Sydney to win this game and move up the league table closer to the top 6 playoff spots.
