Bayern Munich will meet Manchester City in the last eight of the UEFA Europa League, and the two clubs will have business to do in addition to the match. It has been reported that Bayern has decided not to activate the buyout clause for City loanee Joao Janshou, but wants to continue to use the Portuguese international, so it plans to propose to City to lend him for one more season.
Zouo Janshiro has contributed 1 goal + 4 assists in 12 matches since he was loaned out by Manchester City to Bayern in January. However, Daily Mirror reported that Bayern thinks that the £62 million buyout clause in Zouo Janshiro's contract is too high, which is impossible for the team to afford, and so they want to renegotiate a 1-year extension of the loan with Manchester City, and to reduce the buyout fee to £30 million. It is reported that City's leader, Gordiona, is already not expecting Joao Janslu's return and hopes to sell him as soon as possible in the summer.
The 28-year-old said life at Bayern is going well and hinted at a desire to stay on: "It takes time for players to adapt to a new environment, I've been trying to integrate as quickly as possible, and so far the development has been very positive, both in terms of the team and personal goals.
