I expect the team leader Tannhäuser to make some adjustments and the players to bounce back after a very poor performance.
If I were Tannhäuser, I'd put out the same starting eleven against Southampton and let them take the blame for the defeat. This is the same side that won the English League Cup two weeks ago, so there's no doubt that they have the ability to improve their performance.
This is a very important game for Fernandes, as he has been criticized for his behavior and performance at Anfield, so as the captain, he will have to prove to everyone why he was so highly rated before. Another player who needs to improve his performance is Ricindo Martinez. Even though he has been playing well this season, he was outplayed by Mohamed Sanaa last time, so if he wants to make up for it, he has to work harder this time around.
Southampton are fighting for relegation, but with two wins in their last three league games, I think they will be defending, with a number of people involved in defensive duties, to try and keep them in the game.
