At the end of the season, he went to Brentford's reserve team in October of last year and did well enough to earn a six-month loan deal to become a Brentford B player.
After signing the contract, Romeo said: "I am so honored to join Brentford, originally I came here to follow the drill only to maintain the status, but I became a full-fledged player, it's very exciting". Brentford B-team coach McFarland praised Romeo's outstanding skills and was impressed by the way he started to play with the team.
Romeo's brother, Brooklyn, used to go to the city in the early days.
