Paris Saint Germain

(PSG won a thrilling first match in the restart of the season when Brazilian striker Niemah was sent off for water retention, but it was only a six-minute stoppage time strike from Kilian McBarbie that gave PSG a 2-1 win over Strasbourg to stay at the top of the standings.

Argentina's striker Moses is still resting after winning the World Cup, and the two superstars who lost in the World Cup, Killian McBarbee and Nimmo, were selected to take charge of the game. Nimmo took a penalty kick in the 14th minute, which was scored by Marquinhos, but the Brazilian stalwart scored a goal in the 51st minute to help the visitors to tie the game. Nimmo then became the culprit, he hit the opponent with an elbow in the 61st minute and received a yellow card, and then a minute later he scored a 12-yarder in the penalty area, which resulted in a second yellow card for PSG. PSG played less but still attacked furiously, and in stoppage time Kilian McBarbee scored a 12-yarder, and then scored the game-winner in the 96th minute to lead PSG to a 2-1 win.

Kylian McBarbie said after the game: "A World Cup final injury is never good, but PSG should not pay the price for the disappointment of the French team, it is a different environment, I am still determined to win all the trophies for PSG. Kylian McBarber scored 32 goals in 2022, the most in Ligue 1 since the legendary 1958 scorer Fonteyn (35).
